Prehealth Committee Interview and LOR

Hi,

My adviser suggested to also obtain a prehealth committee LOR after an interview. Please help with the following questions:

1. What is a prehealth committee and who sits on this committee?
2. How is the interview process like for the committee?
3. What is the difference between the committee interview and med school interview?
4. What would the LOR from the committee contain and how does it effect the admissions process versus a regular LOR?
5. what are questions presented in the committee interview?
6. how can we determine if the committee will provide a favorable LOR?
7. What should I convey to them?
8. If i went to multiple schools, should i get multiple committee LORs?

Committee letters and the process by which you obtain one vary quite a lot by school. I would ask your prehealth advisor for the specifics of your school.
