For those of us applying to both prelim and transitional year, is the one set of LOR/PS ok to use for both? I wrote my PS geared toward a prelim-med application, and told the letter writers to write in support of my prelim-med application. However, I still want to apply to the transitional year.. do I need a whole different set of PS/LOR?

Anything that's going to a prelim med program is appropriate for Transitional also.

Can I use the same LOR's for the transitional year/prelim medicine years as I would for LOR's for dermatology (if I tell the letters to write geared towards derm?)

Yes, you can send your derm letters to PGY-1 programs.

Guys, this topic gets discussed every year.

OP, did you even bother doing a search?
