So I graduated from UCSD and am now applying. I sent a bunch of primaries out and just got a couple of secondaries recently since I just verified today. I was under the assumption that coursework requirements that said... physics 1 year with lab meant physics 1 year with a lab, but some schools seem to require a whole year of lab with their programs (like BU and Vermont).
I generally took one to two lab courses for each science (physics, inorg chem, orgo, bio). And only orgo had a whole year of lab courses to go along with the separate lectures. The rest only had 2 quarters worth, most of which I only took 1 quarter. Does this mean that I shouldn't send secondaries to these schools that say you must have or recommend 1 year of lab? Or should I just call each individual school to find out? Or should I start loading up on some state courses to fulfill my requirement?
Also, for the secondary 2x2 picture, does it matter what I wear? I was going to wear just white and a blue tie on a white background, but I'd rather put some color in it.
