this is prolly a dumb question, but i got a premed scholarship at my school. i basically just wrote some letter and got it bc of my academics/PS, and included the award on my application.

is it ok to do this or no? like are they gonna look up the scholarship name. i shortened the name to only include the main point not the full (pre-med scholarship…) thing.

kind of i wrote a shortened version of the scholarship name tho like just the [person name] scholarship, instead of including premedical in there as well

i’m just worried they’ll look it up and see premedical and think i’m pre med

I presume there's no comparable award for announced predental students?

People can change their minds and choose dentistry.

no there’s no dental scholarship, it just says premedical tho so in college terms encompassed the pre health but i doubt admissions knows this

do you think they’d even look the schooarship up and dig this much?

would this be a reason of rejection bc the award date was a couple months ago

Someone may be curious, but you won't be rejected for it.

Our SDN Scholarships are for "prehealth" applicants which would include predental students.

OP, I think you’re vastly overthinking the situation. I wouldn’t stress about this.
