I am currently a premed who also wants to intern as a wedding planner assistant, but I’m afraid that adcoms won’t think highly of it and may question my love for medicine too. Does anyone think that this would raise suspicion when applying to medical school?

If Your class schedule is good, your grades are good, your MCAT is good, you have clinical experience, you have shadowing, you have volunteering, and you have leadership experience then no one will care

This is interesting and different. Your life doesn't have to revolve around Medicine.

I'd call this a "hook." Adcomms will remember you. And there's no problem with having a backup plan, regardless.
