Any advice on how to study for boards while having a heavy class schedule? Taking my boards in July and finding it hard to balance both class studying and board studying.

I'm in the same boat and would love to hear others' opinions, but I'll offer what I've been doing so far. I purchased USMLERx at the beginning of second year and got through about 68% of the bank during my first semester (did a few questions every night, skimmed relevant FA sections - nothing heroic). This semester, I've been working through the Kaplan high-yield videos provided by my school along with FA reading and Rx / Kaplan qbanks.

So far, I've been trying to dedicate 1-2 hours per day to boards during the week and maybe double that on weekends. Obviously, my schedule will be more dedicated to boards prep as the semester winds down, but that's what I've been doing so far.

Make sure you absolutely master anything you cover in class this semester and do the associated first aid sections. By doing that you're studying that material for the boards. Then knock out a couple hours/day in other sections of first aid.

So maybe you're doing GI path in class. Do all First Aid GI, supplement with RR or whatever in addition to your class materials and you're killing two birds with one stone. But maybe you need to review immuno as well, so do a couple hours of FA immuno each day.

I"ve heard that comquest is a pretty good test bank. I'm just gonna try to fit everything in somehow
