Preparation for Step 1

I wanted to know how SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Buffalo prepare you for step 1. Are you classes geared toward preparation to that test? Do they help you study for it at all or encourage you to take a review course like Kaplan or Princeton Review? Do you really just prepare on your own or does the school help you. Also, does anyone know how the students score at ether of these schools....avg, above avg? Any input about this would be great.

It's my observation that the best students are their own best teachers. Schools can say what they will, but nobody can take the tests for you.
