prereq's

huh? 3rd orgo? 3rd physics?

I think the 3rd orgo course you are talking about is the orgo lab, many schools offer 1 orgo lab (its 2 credits tho). And yes, it is required for as a pre-req

and 3rd physics?!?!?! oh gawd, I think your talking about quantum mechanics and rest assured, quantum physics is NOT a pre-req for dental schools haha. Most schools don't even offer physics 3. My old undergrad institute used to only offer it in the summer time cause... no one took it.

That's weird, at osu they have ochem 251, 252, and 253 which im pretty sure are lectures, all with labs. I guess it's hard to figure out when every school besides osu are on semester so when most schools say 8 semester hours of orgo and 8 semester hours of physics, doesnt that convert to 12 quarter hours of each (each class is 5 quarter hours) so wouldn't that be 3 classes of each sequence unless the labs count as separate hours but that wouldnt apply for physics? now im really confused...

Usually 2 of everything is sufficient if there is a lab component for each one. Check with your academic advisor if you want to be sure.

OP, are you by any chance referring to a third quarter of physics? In that case, you may just have to go by credits required by each school. I've seen a couple in the ADEA guidebook that require maybe about 8 quarter credits of physics.
