Prerequisite waiver for Orgo 2?

Hey all, for a DO school that lists orgo 2 as mandatory, is it possible to receive a waiver for the course? I have to taken orgo chem 1, biochem 1 and 2. Due to other issues, I can't do orgo 2 until next summer. So yeah, would appreciate if anyone could answer.

The only way to find out is to contact the school directly. As far as I know, it's a hard requisite for all schools.

If the school requires it, you need to take it. I have seen some schools that will let biochem act as a replacement for organic 2. They usually say this on admission requirements page, though. Maybe apply to those schools? I don't know of any off the top of my head but definitely remember seeing them in my research.

Most schools will indicate if you can replace orgo2 with biochem. Go by what the prerequisites say.
