What would be a good enough step 1 to get some very good interviews? 235? 240? 245?Good letters and involvement in research. Pubs are an obvious plus, but a good enough Step 1 will net some very good interviews.

260 opens doors in a lot of specialties. To match top ophtho programs you need to be a complete package with the scores research and advocates. To match any ophtho program you can have some deficiencies in one or two of those categories.No, I'm talking about the >260 range.
