Ha, ha. I totally thought today would be the downbeat of interview invites to at least ten schools, too! Oh, well. Maybe they are just testing our patience. 😀

Hopefully we'll hear something sometime this week, though. I'm anxiously awaiting UIC, Marquette, and UDM...although I heard Detroit is one of the last ones to extend invites.

I guess we can just keep our fingers crossed!!

NYU will be mid September and USC will be early Sept. This is what both schools told me after calling them multiple times and ... 🙂

Hey shahinc, isn't that the interview dates not invites?

I don't think NYU is that slow... last year's thread said like mid August for the first round invites

UDM only contacts you through snail mail for updates...i sent them my check june 28th and they still haven't cashed it yet..they did this last year too, they really are one of the last schools to contact the applicants

Haha the only thing I got from UDM was a small receipt in an envelope for my app fee. It's funny because other schools send an email or letter saying thank you for applying and such.. so when I got the receipt it was like, wait really?

Nope, I haven't received anything from UDM. They cashed my check on July 1st, but other than that, nothing by email, snail mail, or AADSAS.

I'll start worrying about UDM in November, though. A couple of the students I talked to there said that they had late-November interviews and were accepted on December 1st.

Haha the only thing I got from UDM was a small receipt in an envelope for my app fee. It's funny because other schools send an email or letter saying thank you for applying and such.. so when I got the receipt it was like, wait really?

I have a funny story about that. I was away from home and I had a friend collecting my mail. I told them that I was expecting invites/rejections from schools and to call me if I received any mail from a school. So my friend calls me up all excited and they are opening the mail. I cant wait!! and then they tell me...!!...its a receipt.😕 haha it was pretty funny.
