I want Illinois to be my primary state- because that's where I want to end up practicing following residency. However I'm doing 1-2 years of residency in Kentucky. Sooo since I want to keep my Illinois license forever and will probably let my KY license lapse after residency, does it matter which law board I take first? I guess I'm asking do I have to take Illinois law first since it's my primary state? Or can I take KY first and stilll keep IL as my primary state? Thanks!
