I took a Princeton review class a year ago, and am still receiving the Wall Street Journal EVERY MORNING. I tried to cancel it through Wall Street, they wouldn't let me, since it is a special subscription. I tried to cancel it through PR, and that didn't work either. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS THING? It id literally driving me nuts. I thought it would stop after a year, but it keeps coming...

i never took the TPR class but will the wall street journal people let you change the mailing address? send it to the TPR headquarters 😉

That is BS that you can't cancel it through Wall Street - the person you talked to just didn't know what they were doing. I cancelled my PR Wall street subscription about a month after I started getting it because a) delivery was sporadic - I wouldn't get one for a week, then I would get one every day and b) they kept delivering it to the wrong address. I cancelled it through Wall Street and it was no problem at all - it took less than a minute. Try again, and don't mention that it was a Princeton Review subscription. If that still doesn't work, then definitely change to address to the PR HQ as Arsenic suggests! Good luck!

i got the journal when i signed up for kaplan and i didn't want it either. i went to the journal's website and put a "hold" on it, as if i was going out of town. but i set the hold to last something like 325 days (i was already a couple weeks into a yearlong subscription). so, i think i'll receive two more papers in october and that'll be it.

I don't think I ever read any of that stuff they used to send me (for shame!). I prefered Harry Potter and/or Roald Dahl to prepare for verbal reasoning, myself. 😉
