Private loans...

Hey guys...

I'm starting med school this fall at PCOM-GA....I was wondering if anyone had done much research on private loans and what people thought the best options were for this. I have been looking around, but I was going to see what current and future students thought were good lenders. Any help is appreciated!

Best bet is to look through the financial aid forum and to go to the private lenders web sites. I looked at many lenders, but in the end it was down to two: Health Ed Solutions and Access Group (for private). I decided to go with Access Group because they do not have fees, they have a long deferment and the lady on the phone was nice and helpful. I decided to go with North Star for my Staffords.

I use northstar private loans and haven't had any trouble. I'm going to switch to them for my Staffords this coming year.
