Problem with Berkeley Review?

Just wondering if anyone has ordered their homestudy books from Berkeley Reivew and had any problem with ordering process.

First of all, I couldn't reach anyone for several days by email/phone.

I finally got a hold of someone today but they still haven't received my money order that was sent more than a week ago by usps priority mail.

Is this fairly common with berkeley review?

I hear that they have been short-staffed recently. They still have not responded to my phone call and emails since last week! 😕

I want to offer up an apology for the recent issues with phone contact over the last two to three weeks. It basically comes down to a crisis that has since passed, and all has returned to normal as of Monday (four days ago).

On the short term, I can offer up a consoltion to apologize for the inconvenience. I'll let you know via PM. Thank you for your patience. When are you taking the MCAT?

i ordered mine two weeks ago and sent 2 emails and left a voicemail msg to no avail...
berkleyteach please help..

I sent in my money a week ago- did anyone get a contact when they received it?

I am planning on calling in on Monday if I haven't heard anything- I take my MCAT on May 10th and figure if I am paying a fortune for shipping (2 day shipping) they should take that in mind when shipping things out!

My berk review books have arrived!!!

They are detailed. I am impressed so far. Plenty of practice passages.

They read like a text book with practice passages.

So far, I think they look better than TPR and Kaplan.

BTW, I just bought all of them so if I wanted more I did not have to wait so long to get them.

I'm assuming you have the TPR hyperlearning books too, then. I know you just got your berkeley review books, but after a brief perusal how do you think TBR bio stands up against TPR bio? I know what I want to use for the other sections, I'm just debating between TBR, TPR, and EK. I do know that TBR has great (difficult) passages, but I'm wondering about the review itself.

I can tell you from just looking over it. The Bio is very detailed and covers things I have not seen in other books.

I have learned it in Biochem. Even if you do not remember it all. I think it is helpful to at least have heard of it before. I got it mainly for the passages.

I mean it looks like a complete review. Probably overkill but I like the extra info and then work up the passages. Tons of passages!!

I seriously doubt I can do them all.

I am working on a strategy now.

Bottom line: I like it better.

Depends on what you need.

EK is more brief and for a quick review. TBR is a detailed review.

If you have time, do both because you can see the material in different formats.

Hope these books are as helpful for you guys as it was for me. 👍

My housemate bought my books, and he swears by them now.. he's said it's made him think in ways he's never thought before. Which is kind of crazy.

i got mine yesterday! so there is somebody listening🙂

i like them so far, like someone said earlier, it's like EK on 'roids😀 just sucks that it's all black and white and not as pretty presentation-wise, but eh, it's a small price to pay!

I am kinda torn between taking TBR or EK as a review course. I have taken Kaplan and am looking for a step up. Any advice as far as which one I should take?

EK is more a brush up and BR is more detailed.

Kaplan has the best practice tests material though.

I have only looked over a few of them but I like them because they seem hard enough to make me think unlike TPR.

I plan on doing them all when I get the chance.

I have to wrap up this semester first!
