1). Could I get some estimates as to the average time between the RED X verification stage that I am now in until the final processing and submission of my application to my designated schools? How do you know when final processing and submssion took place?

2). I noticed a small error in my application and verification in that one of my courses was given the wrong classification. I'm afraid that if I try to send AMCAS a note and correct it now with a new certification, it might gum everything up and set me back another 30 days. Instead I'm thinking of waiting until it has been finally processed and submitted, and then notifying AMCAS. At least my application will then be at the schools. Any thoughts? Anyone ever try to make a correction at the verification stage? Did it slow down the whole process?

I made a change and there didn't seem to be a problem with my verification. I called first, and the specialist said that my place in line wouldn't be affected by a correction. Take that to mean what it will, but I submitted 8/29 and was verified this morning 10/2.(ducking) please don't hurt me, I don't know how it happened so quickly!)

I would change it now before AMCAS sends out the unverified apps to the schools. Don't take my word as gospel, please, that's just what I would do.

Remember, this application was designed to be verified in 15 days from submission. Perhaps they have actually fixed some problems now and are approaching that goal.
