Processing time for NY pharmacist licensure

Hello, I just graduated pharmacy school in ohio, plan to obtain NY pharmacist licensure. I already passed Naplex, and MPJE, and wait to take compounding exam in June.
If I pass the compounding exam in June, I believe I get the result in early July. Since I already passed the other two (NAPLEX, MPJE) exams, I am wondering how long normally take to work as an active pharmacist in NY. When I got the pass score for compounding exam, could I work like within a week?

In ohio, when we pass Naplex, and MPJE, people could check their status online within a week, and could work right away, and normally take a month to receive official paper certificate.

NYS states that the compounding exam takes 6 weeks to grade on their website, although they typically finish within 4-5 weeks. So you're looking at early-mid July for your license.
Your license can be verified. It will show up the day you are licensed when searching here: http://www.op.nysed.gov/opsearches.htm

There are some things to know about the compounding exam.
If you have or gain one year of full-time experience as a pharmacist out-of-state, you can reciprocate your license without ever taking the exam.
If you attempt the exam once and fail, you must repeat it until you pass, regardless of future work experience.
It is a challenging exam with a 65-70% pass rate and it is only offered twice a year.

Results from the Part III exam typically take 30-37 calendar days to arrive in your mailbox.
Having to challenge the exam increases the time significantly (but I highly recommend).
The Part III was not my last requirement, but after my last exam's passing score was posted on NABP they issued my license number online [here] promptly 8 days later.
