Can anybody recommend a course of action for a 5th year student who was withdrawn from the program. Should I do pharm/tox, pharm sci or what? Also, is it possible to transfer to another pharmacy school during graduate years?

no one can make that decision for you. I assume you go to a 1-6 year school?

anyways...what are you interested in doing? do you want to interact with patients/doctors/etc? then you should try and get back into pharmacy.

If that is not possible or you want to work more in a lab? try pharm/tox or pharm/sci or maybe pharmacy administration?

if it is about what can transfer over more with regards to pharmacy credits...check with the school..i know at USP...pharm/tox and pharmacy are pretty similiar until 4th year.

Do you know of any cases when people would get back into Pharm.D. program after being withdrawn? Is it even possible?

What does 'withdrawn from the program' mean? Were you kicked out because of grades? If so, it might be hard to transfer to another pharm school without having to repeat several classes. How about becoming a pharm rep?

I know someone who didn't make it due to the 2 probations (the second probation was during fifth year). She petitioned it with the deans & is now re taking fifth year.
