Programs on probation?

How do you know which residency programs are on probation? I checked the ACGME site, but I couldn't find any information. Thanks

i think you have to look up each program individually
so you go to the area where it says search program by location
enter the state and specialty
and you get a list of the programs
then click on "view details" on the L side of the screen
and the accreditation stuff is at the bottom of all the info they show (it should say something like "continued full accreditation" and lists the next site review date

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I was looking for. It was nice to be able to see how many positions were filled/unfilled by PGY as well. Definitely not a repeat. 🙂

Also important is finding out whether a program has had RRC citations or been on probation. Ask about the results from their most recent site review. The program director should be able to provide this info - if they don't know (or refuse to give it), be worried!
