"What programs pay for my hotel when I interview?" This seems to be a fairly common question, so lets compile a list here for posterity. It should be noted that this will quite possibly change somewhat from year to year.
Here's my list.

University of Arkansas-Little Rock

Wake Forest University-Winston-Salem, NC
Medical University of South Carolina-Charleston

Last Year
University of Vermont
New Mexico
Ball Memorial H
MUSC

Anencephalic,
Did you request two nights from Indiana and ETSU, or did they just offer it? I ask because I have interviews at both places and they never mentioned two nights, which would help me a lot.

Wash U-- I don't know if they provide accomodations, but since I go to school in St. Louis and they are aware of that it was never an issue.

SLU--see above

George Washington--not paid

Utah--Hotel paid

New Mexico--hotel paid

UCSF-- I told the program coordinator that I grew up in the city and can crash in my old room

U Washington: Not paid

I'm not applying to urban centers where I can knock out 3-4 interviews on one stay, and unfortunately most are too far to drive. I was happy to see so many of the big name programs that caught my interest offer to help with costs and was surprised that Washington didn't also.

Wow, you made it seem like every friggin program offered to pay your trip, when in fact a couple of the "big names" did not. Out of curiosity, are the people at WashU, UCSF, or GW skin flints too? Guess you aren't the be-all end all applicant that we all thought you were 🙄

hey, just found this old post and was wondering about what places provided accommodations this year.

also, was that for everybody, or just the stellor candidates?

Paid for hotel:
Utah
New Mexico (nice, clean hotel w/ good breakfast)
Penn (swanky)
Wash U

Provided list of hotels w/ discounts:
JHU

Baylor Houston: Nope.
BIDMC: Nope.
Cedars-Sinai: Nope.
Dartmouth: Hotel (guesthouse) and dinner.
Mayo: Hotel and dinner.
Methodist: Nope.
Northwestern (Downtown):VERY nice dinner (with booze) but no hotel.
UCLA: Nope.
U. Colorado: Nope.
U. Minnesota: Hotel.
U. Washington: Dinner and no hotel.
Utah: Awesome hotel in the 2002 Olympic Village.
Yale: Hotel discount and dinner.

I think you'll find that just about every program you visit is extremely generous. All of them, in additional to the above, will at least provide a great informal lunch with residents where you can ask lots of informal questions on the day of the interview. I hope this helps!

University of Rochester - paid hotel, cab fare

UNM - provides accomodations at doubletree, very nice, and they give you a goody bag with candies and junk food

Yale - hotel discount, about 15 minute walk from the hospital

Hawaii - nothing except free food in the cafeteria!!!!

Northwestern - free dinner and the residents will drink at the dinner

U Vt. - free hotel

Univ. S. Florida - free hotel

off the top of my head, these places paid for a hotel (aside from ones already listed recently):
UNC
Duke
Pitt
U Wisconsin
OSU
Nebraska
VCU
UVA
U Mich

seems that the midwestern programs were particularly willing to pay for your hotel. i'll also add Duke covered 2 nights in a hotel for me because the interview day ended with a social that went pretty late, and they want to make sure we feel like we can stay to talk to the residents and faculty a bit more.

I can add a few more places to the list:

Paid accomodation:
U. Louisville
U. Kansas (very nice hotel overlooking The Plaza)
UIC
Creighton

Subsidised accomodation:
U Maryland
U Buffalo

No accomodation provided:
Robert Wood Johnson NJ
ETSU
