Programs that wait for Dean's Letters

Hi everyone,

So I know Hopkins and Boston Children's wait to send invites until they review Dean's Letters (at least according to their websites).

Does anyone know if these programs do the same: Brown, Yale, Children's Nat'l, MGH ?

I submitted everything to ERAS Sept 1 and have not yet heard a peep from these 4 places, so I'm wondering when to call for an update.

Sorry can't help you with those programs but I would also like to know about Northwestern/childrens memorial, U of C, and Baylor...thanks in advance

my running list of "wait until dean's letter" (based off of last year's interview thread, so I'm not sure) include

hopkins
children's hospital boston
children's national (dc)
ucla

spdrcrbmw - all three you mentioned have offered interviews, to the best of my knowledge northwestern does a prelim y/maybe sweep, then the maybes wait for NW to get more info, and baylor emailed me stating my application could not be considered until my transcript was in, which it is (2 days), but i haven't heard anything yet.

anyone else? and by the way, i am getting NO west-coast love.

This is my first SDN post! Here it goes...

I'm couples matching so I applied to tons of programs. I also haven't heard from Colorado, I'm thinking they wait for the DL. U of C and Northwestern have given out interviews, but NW seems to be doing rolling invites (a friend got one a little bit after me).

I didn't apply to Hopkins, but a friend did. He said that when he double-checked the website, it said you have to email them with 2 possible interview dates BEFORE they will even look at your application! You might want to check this out...

Yup, I did do this back in early Sept, and they sent a nice reply acknowledging my email. 😛
