43 persons have read and not a single word!
oo.... please...

It seems no body has applied to Prosthodontics ...

I think that is fairly accurate. Maybe if you ask in the international dentist forum, you can get some insight.

I heard that a few USC prosth residents could not finish their training in 3 years because they could not finish the program’s tough clinical requirements😱…..yes, there are requirements for prosth residency just like for DDS program. My father-in-law was a patient there and the resident who treated him had to spend an extra semester to get his certificate.

USC Prosth is an excellent program👍. There are a lot of well-known instructors there. Dr. Chee (I am not sure if he is still there) is a very knowledgeable instructor…..my wife, who was a USC perio resident, had learned a lot from him. There are plenty of implant and full mouth reconstruction cases.

I think you should also look at its cross town rival, UCLA prosth program…it is probably the best in the country….you probably heard of Dr. John Beumer.

It is OK not know about USC pros. as you will be there to find out what they have to offer you. You should call and speak to the residents directly. DP
