What are the people at UW thinking? World championship?? It should be an interview to select students for prosthodontics, not prosthodontists! I would undergo such a so-called interview only if I applied to teach prosthodontics there... hahaha. Wish you all the best there any way.

UB contacted me recently saying my application has been submitted to the committee? Do they conduct more than a round of interviews???

And, yes, I am an international applicant.

Hi!
I'm new here.
UIC, USC and NCU already had interviews and they chose the students.
I had interview a tufts, and Columbia. In two weeks I will have at nova and puerto Rico.
By this time almost all schools has selected their students for prostho. Except nova and puerto Rico.

Yes you're right. The interview was quite exhausting. Anyway, yes UB might call more people so you do have some hope. Good luck!

Congratulations! How were your interviews? Did you hear back from any of them? Good luck for the others

Thanks.
I think I had good interviews, however tufts said I'm in the waiting list, but I don't believe anybody will refuse a spot in that program cuz is one of the best in America.
Last week I got an email from Columbia university, and the secretary said dr. White does not make a decision yet. I hope I get some news nex week.
I'm so upset that some universities don't even let you know if you are invited or not for interview, they just get the application fee and after that they never answer your email, that happened to me with Alabama, Connecticut and Chicago.
Honestly, I found out that many schools have inefficient employees receiving the applications, I called nova (by mistake to the dental school applications department not the postgraduate department) to know what happened to my application, and a lady said she will give it directly to the director of the program, the next day the secretary of the postgraduate emailed me saying I was invite for interview and I had 2 days to decided if I go there.
What about you?

Thanks.

I got an apology by mail from UAB.

I agree with you about the rest.

See you at NSU interview. GL

Hello all

I wanted to know if anyone has an opinion about the Pros program at UB (Buffalo). I interviewed there and it was hardly an interview, more like a discussion where the director told me about the program.
Does anyone know how the program is rated among others?

How did you find their facility, building and clinics?

How is the patient availability and their ability to afford
expensive full mouth rehab??

Facility, building and clinics were good. About full mouths, they don't have as many as other programs.

Did UAB or UConn require any tests or lab work during the interview? If so, please explain what it was. Thanks!
