Plant-like/algal protists (mostly photosynthetic):
Dinoflagellates
Diatoms
Red, green, and brown algae algae I believe
Euglenophyta (euglenoids)

Animal-like protists (mostly parasitic):
Ciliata (paramecium)
Sporozoa (causes malaria)
Sarcodina (amoebas, i believe the name for amoebas is something like Radiolarian or something like that)

Fungal-like protists (heterotrophic):
oomycota (water molds)
Plasmodial slime molds
Cellular slime molds

How much in detail do we have to know these? Do we just know that Oomycota fall under fungus-like protists or do we have to know more details about each of them?
