proximal inter-phalangeal joint
Okay, I can't extend my finger flat by about 45 degrees, and can't squeze it in as much as the others by about 20 degrees.
Obviously, I can still type. I does hurt when trying to stretch this joint beyond my newly found boundries and I actually can't even do it with even about 20 pounds of extra force.
This was due to a dislocation (middle finger caught in an untucked Tongan/American rugby jersey and twisted out of socket during a tackle I made). I had my coach pull it back into place.
What do I need to know to do a black-market surgery on it myself?
Just kidding.
Is there anything a doctor can do?
What do you suggest?
