What kind of jobs are available for those interested in in the FBI/ CIA for psychiatry?

Also, how about defense related research projects related to the brain?

my major was neuroscience and i have always been fascinated with mind research-and im not a big fan of whats currently being done in academia
i.e. -computational neuroscience(too complicated to be useful IMO)
-f/MRI imagin(fad?)
-behavioral psychology(does nothing on a direct level only observational)

from waht I hear DARPA has done research specific to AI and brain mapping/studying although i also heard some of it was scrapped.

so in general-what jobs available as a psychiatrist
and separately, what jobs available on a research level in military.

This gets posted in the Military Medicine forums a fair bit too.

One thing to keep in mind is that all of the federal physician jobs that sound intriguing to people (FBI, CIA, State Dept, Foreign Service, etc.) require a minimum of 3-5 years post-residency experience.

The one CIA job I found the link, you figure it'd be more in the domain of psychologists.

research, analyze, and write assessments of foreign leaders, societal impacts of disease and disaster, and decision-making groups for the most senior US Government policymakers.
