Psychotherapist

Is it possible to become a psychotherapist going for a Masters in a particular area of Psych? Would I be able to get a Masters in Clinical and be a psychotherapist? What kind of thing in Psych would i have to do to be able to do a lot of psychotherapy, like a psychotherapist?
