If your a PT do you have to be a registered Dietitian to bill nutritional services for your patients?
 
You might have better luck finding the answer if you post the question in the Physical Therapy forum, rather than the pre-Physical Therapy forum. Most people in this forum haven't started PT school yet, so don't really know what can be billed for as a PT.
 
Yes, I believe so. Physical therapists pretty much prescribe exercise and other modalities to improve daily function...they are not registered to prescribe a SPECIFIC diet. Therefore, I am 99% sure that you need to be an R.D. to give SPECIFIC dietary advice.
