My biomechanics did not count nor did my kinesiology for the math/science specific gpa. My exercise physiology also didn't count. I don't think my computer science counted (but don't quote me on that). So for me it was chemistry, bio, physics, math (lots of math in my case), A&P....it sucked because my math/science gpa ended up very low as it basically discounted a lot of A's for me.
The best place to find this information is within the PTCAS application. There is information there near the place where you input your coursework. I did it last year, but I remember some pop up window I could bring up each time I had a question on labeling my courses. Some of it depends on how your college classifies the courses. If some of the above courses are from the Bio department, then they are usually fine. (I found PTCAS more helpful than the school in this case)
Overall, I was frustrated with Nova. I got into much more competitive programs but couldn't get into Nova because of this one calculation. I retook every single PT pre req and got straight As but still didn't meet that math/science GPA (I was a math major and pre med for a few years as an undergrad and got pretty much straight Cs and B-'s across the board....so I had a ton of math/science courses to "overcome").
