Pulmo + Sleep medicine

😎 hi, I wonder if you guys know about this: (after doing IM+Pulmonology+sleep medicine)

1) how is lifestyle, number of hours/week? emergencies?
2) what's the average salary?, I've found info regarding pulmo only, but not with sleep med.
3) any trend or comment regarding this sub+sub is welcome, I haven't had the good fortune to know a pulmonologist subspecialized in sleep med, so I have no information about it. 😕

while pulmonology alone sucks- getting sleep with that is a smart decision.
the sleep work is verly 'dooable' plus has strong cash returns- it pays by a factor of 3.6 while critical care pays by 4.0-not too bad? eh?
plus will give you a lot of time to ski,sleep! or travel!

get sleep boarded if you like sleep - the ABIM just adopted Sleep from ABMS, so, if you aren't in a dedicated sleep fellowship (which usually requires a year of sleep), then you have until 2010 to see 400 sleep pts, read 200 PSGs, and 50 MSLTs
