Hey everyone,

First time posting here. Very helpful site. I'm here because I'm trying to understand my BCPM GPA and get my LoRs in order. Any help you can give me is really appreciated! =)

I was a pure math major in college and it is my impression that all of those courses count towards my BCPM GPA. However, I've been reading stories of engineering courses not counting as science, etc. so now I'm a little unsure about what upper division math courses would count as.

I also called up an admissions office to see if a letter from a math professor would count as a letter from a science professor. Apparently it won't. This little incident is also contributing to my confusion about whether higher math classes would be counted in the BCPM GPA.

So does anyone know for sure if higher math courses (such as linear algebra, diff geometry, math logic, etc.) count as part of the BCPM GPA calculation? Or is it just lower division undergraduate courses (diff eq, calculus, statistics) that do?

Thanks in advance! =)

Weird. I used letters from CS professors as science letters, and I had no problem applying whatsoever.

If it's designated as math, it should be part of BCPM.

From what I understand, it doesnt matter if it is pre algebra, or advanced non linear dynamics....as long as it is classified as math, it will count.
