Oh ok. I have a lot of Haitian friends too. One of my American friends, whom got accepted to med school this year, often goes to Haiti with the Rome Foundation, a nonprofit organization that does medical mission trips in Haiti.

Oh that is cool; I've actually never been to Haiti though. A lot of Creole people are also from New Orleans. That is where my family is from. My g-ma speaks Creole, but she will never teach anyone else because she doesn’t want us to know when she is talking about us. I guess I should just try to learn French because that's the closest I am going to get.

Heat and humidity is no big deal. I can always take my shirt off when hanging out outside. I can also escape the heat at the lake or the beach.
