i know mprep and Kaplan have one, do you believe purchasing a qbank is the best way to study?
I bought the MPrep Qbank and I regret it. I never used it. I preferred the Khan Academy passages, which are free.
What's bad about m prep qbank? Are the psych/soc and sciences passages not useful at all?
I took the real thing in May and the Mprep questions were way too difficult compared to the real thing. Also most of them were poorly written and some of the answers were ridiculous. Like once I got a question where the question asked "What does the passage imply about blah blah blah" but I got it wrong because I selected something that the passage outright stated, and it said that because it outright stated it, it did not "imply" it. So then I remembered that and when I got another "imply" question, I did not choose the one that was explicitly stated in the passage, but then it turned out to be that one! Make up your mind, Mprep.
Also, how many passages are in it for each section? And does it have biochem practice?
Chem/phys: 47
CARS: 54
Bio: 56
Psych: 31
Not worth the amount of money it costs. 31 passages is nothing, I could finish that in a couple of hours.
Do you recommend any other high-volume psych/soc practice beyond NS and khan academy? Thanks
