Word on the street is that Examkrackers (EK) provides the best full length practice tests in terms of being the most representative of the real MCAT. It also seems that the consensus is that Next Step (NS) is right behind EK as second best with regard to matching the style of AAMC in their practice tests.

EK offers 4 tests each for $50... $200 total.

NS offers 6 tests as a bundle for $150 total. You can even buy 10 tests from NS for $250 total.

Now my question is, does the quality of EK trump the quantity of NS tests you can get for the same price? I'm just trying to decide if it's worth spending $200 to only get 4 tests, rather than spending less for 6 NS tests, or even spending just $50 more to get more than double the amount of tests EK offers (10 NS tests for $250). If EK's tests truly are dramatically better than NS then I would be willing to spend $200 for only 4 tests. However, if that's not the case then it seems more reasonable to go with the NS option as it gives you more tests for your buck to practice with.

Does anyone have any advice on what's the best option? Or any thoughts from anyone who has completed both companies' tests?

This is a good question, would like to know too. I heard TPR's exams are pretty good too.

I preferred NS... but honestly in the end any of these companies tests are just about practice and timing so if money is tight just buy the most tests for your money. I haven't seen much consistency between practice tests and the real MCAT (except AAMC and those people who paid for the whole course) Except GS, I wasn't a huge fan of their stuff. Quantity....

Yes please! Bump, as I would love to know soon 🙂
