I'm preping for the DAT in 1.5/2 months and I see my scores improving and I'm gaining confidence in other sections, but I'm getting a little worried about QR. I haven't taken any math for 4 years so maybe it's just rust but I just took a Kaplan "section test" (25 questions no time limit) test and I feel like crap about it.

I've got Math Destroyer but I haven't opened it yet. Besides that, what's the best way to prepare for QR?
 
Psh. Kaplan's diagnostic test was full of problems that required tricks I'm assuming only their course would teach. I'd say, start doing tons of problems, don't worry about them being super hard just get your basics down and understand they can throw odd balls at you. I thought I was under prepared when I took mine, I took a practice test only a few days before the real thing and found that I scored the lowest in the QR with a 16. Then the real thing came, and I got a 24.

Main things IS: Be Fast. Know what type of problem you are dealing with and don't spare a second. Timing is crucial for the QR.

Lots of practice with the Math section in DAT Destroyer. I didn't use Math Destroyer, but it would probably help as well. Just practice A LOT so you instantly know how to solve a problem once you see it.

I also found it useful to write down trig functions on the white board before starting the test (during the intro thingy... whatever it's called) because trig was one of my weakest areas.
