Hey everyone,

I just finished my first practice exam and did pretty poorly on the QR section. I haven't taken any math classes in 5+ years and it's clearly my weak spot. Does anyone have advice on the best resources to re-learn the material necessary for the DAT? Even the most basic things seem harder than they should for me so I'm pretty desperate. Thanks!

everyone will probably laugh at me, but it'd been 12yrs since I'd done any college level math, so I purchased and went through a $13 "Precalculus Demystified" from Amazon (I basically needed to go through everything step by step, yes, it's sad) that got me going with the basics again, enough to dive into all the pre-reqs successfully... and now I'm proceeding with Math Destroyer to prep for DAT

For what it's worth, I got a 30 in QR, and I found (most of) Chad's Videos for QR to be extremely helpful. My recommendation would be to watch those videos and take all the quizzes. Take some time to study your notes from these videos. Then, since you are having a hard time, I would suggest doing a good majority, if not all, of the problems in Math Destroyer. Don't overdo it if you start feeling good about QR though. Most importantly, do all 10 Bootcamp practice tests as well. If you do this, I have no doubt you will score at least a 20 on test day. Stick with it!

Great, that's actually exactly what my plan looks like, just wanted to make sure that will be enough. Thanks!
