Hey guys, long time reader first time poster.

I am currently starting a Kaplan Course, but I decided to also go down and purchase the GRE Math Book also by Kaplan. I have been working everything in it and I have started to notice little tricks to remember that seem to be wise.

My questions are, will the actual DAT questions be crazy questions, or general ones?

Will I be fully prepared if I can work, and remember all the tricks in this GRE booklet along with the actual Kaplan DAT book?

Should I waste my time going super indepth with the Math Section, or get the general ideas and move on to some chem/bio/PAT?

In general, I think the QR section is fairly straight forward without any "crazy questions". I guess it also depends on what you think is a crazy question, but I didn't perceive there to be any. I have never worked the GRE book, so I can't comment on it except for the fact that other posters have recommended the book for the DAT.

It seems to me you are fairly good at the math already. If that is the case, I would highly recommend you move on to the Bio and Chem and PAT. The natural science section may take you a long time to prepare for, so you better get crackin' ASAP.

Good luck.

Hey FutureDDS,

Sounds like you are doing some good studying there....

I would suggest using Barron's DAT guidebook for the QRT. It's only around $15 and it goes through the types of questions on the test and some basic math. I am not sure how directly the questions on the GRE correspond to the DAT. I think the QRT is pretty easy except for remembering that trigonometry that was the only part that was hard for me.

Good luck,
Jessica
