quantity or quality?

i need an opinion:

do you think its better for students to take a heavy courseload and do decent, or take a lighter courseload and do spectacular. the obvious answer would pretty much be get the good grades, but one should consider that med school is pretty much like taking a heavy courseload in the undergrad years. any opinions?

I think quality...maybe start out light, then work your way up.

Plann which courses may be tougher then take a light year and when the classes are eaiser take a heavy load

Both quality and quantity should be your goal, but if you cannot handle both then go for quality aka the grades.
