Hey all - so I was recently accepted to a program, and had a few questions regarding prereqs. The school I was accepted to posts their prereqs in terms of semesters and I attended a quarter-based program. At the end of this quarter, I will have 11 quarter credits of organic chemistry, 11 quarter credits of physics, and 5 quarter credits of English (excluding two 3 credit AP English classes). The school I was accepted to requires 8 semester hours of ochem, 8 semester hours of physics, and 6 semester hours of English. If I converted everything correctly I will be short 1 quarter credit hour of both ochem and physics. My first question is, is this something that my school would let slide? It seems silly to have to do a couple 4 credit classes to satisfy the rest of the prerequisites, but obviously I will do it if necessary. I also was curious if most DO schools accept AP credit? I checked my program's website but there was no information about AP coursework. Thanks for the help!
