I am applying for a perio program for next yr.my application deadline being 15th aug.....but i have got dates for part 2 exam on 7thn8th of august......wht shud i do...i was planning to apply on the 10th and inform the school tht they'll receive my scores directly thru ada.......
is tht the right ting to do....i'm not sure....cud anyone suggest something.....thnx

where do u wanna apply, may be u shud ask the school itself. If u r confident that u wud do well in ur test u can send them directly. Though they say perio is not so competitive, its really tough to get into perio these days coz of implant and beleive me most schools dont wait till deadline , they choose their resident well in advance. I heard BU is easier to get into for FTD rest is as competitive infact more than advance standing for FTD.
Sorry I didnt mean to discourage you, but I went through the same process wasting time n money.

i will be trying for UTHSC at houston.i contacted the prog director thru email...all i cud gather frm the info provided by her was tht they r going to call all the applicants for interview...with respect to tht i decided to apply for perio....cud u plz tell me wht experiences u had regarding ur application and which univ....wud appreciate it......thnx
