Hi. y'all~~

I have done little more than half way of pre-pham classes now, and I got really big question.

In Pharm D. schools, there is 3years program and 6-years program.
which one is easier to get in? Why do they have 3 or 6 years program?

Also, if i'm gonna be transfer student to 6 years Pharm D. program, is it really hard to get in 6years program? Which most student start with freshmen in same school? Do you guys have any idea how many transfer students do they take in every year from 6-year program school?

I'm actually looking for school in NJ or NY area.

are they hard to getting in? Please, help me out....

I don't wanna loose my hope, but I wish that i can get little clue.

Thanks guys. Have great day.

1. A PharmD program is 4 years. The 3 year program is an accelerated program and you go during the summer. The 6 year program includes the prerequisites for the first 2 years, then it is a normal 4 year program. Transfer students accepted will vary by school. Ask the schools that you are interested in.

2. Try the AACP web site to find schools in NJ or NY

3. They are all hard to get into.
