Does anyone know if AMCAS weighs different undergraduate schools differently? For example, if I took my pre med requirements at one schools versus another one. If so, could someone point me to the right direction where I can look up where my school ranks? It seems like I came across this information before but I can't seem it find it. Thanks.

AMCAS doesn't care about institution names. Every course you've ever attempted and stayed in past the drop deadline (not withdraw deadline) at every school you've ever attended post-high school gets reported along with the grade you got. No exceptions. It is that simple.

Is there any reasons as to why AMCAS treats your transcript(s) like some sort of criminal report? As in, why don't we have much control over what is visible to them or not. Seems like it is sort of information that does not really effect anyone else but you; why should it be revealed so openly?

Does Pharmacy have something equivalent as well?

Its not public, you agree to you when you apply. Med schools want to know the full extent of your academic history, with nothing hidden.

If we had editorial control over our transcript, we would all just list our best grades and nothing else. Then the entire purpose would be defeated.
