Hey Guys! I've seen posts on other forums about the first June test having alot of Bio acronyms. Anyone have any ideas what that might include? Thanks!

*Did not take the June test.
You're not likely to get (good) answers...the only people who know for sure are people who took that test, and they can't tell you because of the non-disclosure agreement. The AAMC has provided an outline of content areas which could occur on the test--that's your best bet.

The acronyms aren't necessarily anything you could know beforehand, so most of it will be passage-based acronyms. There could be a specific virus that is a target of prevention methods (Dengue virus, for example) and they could reference to the virus as DENV and the different strains/subtypes as DENV-1, DENV-4 and so on.

Section bank is probably your best reference. I haven't taken the test but in the FLs I've practiced and Section Bank/Qpacks, I have not run into acronyms that I don't know of or that wasn't mentioned in the passage. Like for variants, you can figure that out from the passage so my guess is that anything that is beyond the scope of what you are required to know on the outline will be explained or briefly mentioned in the passage.
