I don't know why I just picked now to start freaking out. I have 2 tests that I am supposed to be studying for and can't concentrate! 🙁 On the website, Creighton says that the preferred minimum GPA is 2.9 to be considered. At what point is their cutoff that they will not even look at the application? I am just really freaking out about what PharmCas will calculate my GPA to be, since I hear that it's always lower than your "real" GPA. :scared: I just really want to get an interview!

if I were you I'd email them and ask their admissions counselor is very friendly and helpful. Also Pharmcas doesn't always make your GPA lower than your "real" one, it made mine go up 1.5 points

I don't have an exact number, but I do know that Creighton's usage of the word "preferred" for requirements doesn't suggest a bold ultimatum. Like their "preferred deadline", they'll look at GPAs under 2.9. For a better estimate, you ought to prod the counselors as I never really asked that question.

Thanks. 😳 I guess I should just wait to see what PharmCAS comes up with. Then I'll email an admission counselor. I just don't want to be a pest because I know these people are busy!

I just want to second the idea that you should contact them directly. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to freak out just yet. 😀 And while they are busy people, it is also their job. Of all the schools I contacted last year, they were by far the friendliest and most helpful no matter how often I called or emailed!

I'm a current P1 at Creighton. Just some input...for the PCAT requirement they suggested a minimum of 60 in all areas of the PCAT. I had a 50 in one area, but I still got an interview and was accepted.

They look at the whole package, I think. As long as you are not WAY off their 'suggesteds' I would assume they will at least look at your application.

But, again, call them - they are SO great and helpful!! Never a bad question can be asked!
