Question about D-School invitations

Hey, Guys.
I just have a quick question to all the SDN pre-dental students.
So I found that quite a few schools are inviting students for interviews. I also applied to dental schools that have already started interviews such as NYU, UPenn, UCSF...etc. But frankly, I did not get any interview from them so far. From "my" point of view, I have a pretty high GPA, DAT scores and worked hard in application processes. The only thing that I was worried is that I have a little bit of delayed mailing date, which is 7/18 (But I guess, this is not the problem since some students already received invitation with the same date).

I am little worried whether these d-schools do not have positive emotion to invite me. Is there going to be more "flood of" invitations from these d-schools? Does anybody know when is the closing date for the invitation or whether I still have chance for the invitation?

My stat: sciGPA:3.9, overallGPA:3.9, DAT Total Science-23, Academic Average- 24, PAT-24

👍👍 I wouldn't worry yet. 7/18 is what, the third or fourth mailing date? I wouldn't be surprised if you're just a little bit further down the pile still; they may not have even gotten to you yet. Some schools don't even start looking at applications until late August/September (not sure about the schools you mentioned, though), so I think it's pretty safe to say that you need to just wait it out. With stats like that, I'm sure you'll hear something from at least one or two of those schools, unless there's some glaring red flag in your application (which we all worry about in situations like yours 😉)
