So I sent my $100 deposit check for a certain school yesterday, but I no longer wish to attend that school so I was wondering if I could somehow get the money back. I'm pretty sure they haven't even received the check in the mail so should I send an email requesting withdraw and a refund?

Most MD schools have refundable deposits. Pull out your MSAR and see what it says about your particular school.

Hmm cause I saw a bunch of thread where people were canceling their checks through their banks for some reason...

But if they are refundable, does that mean they won't deposit it until May 15th or something?

You don't want to attend for sure right? Send them an email saying that you've decided not to hold a place in their class but there is a check in the mail coming their way that you're going to stop payment on so shred it. Stop payment on the check with the bank. The end.
