Hi-
I am getting a BS in Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist, and I am very interested in this career. But, recently i have been thinking about medical school and I was wondering if i choose to go to medical school after i get my BS would it take my chance of getting into medical school because it not a real major. Sorry for the dumb question. thanks.

What do you mean, "not a real major?" If you're getting one then I would assume it is, indeed, real.

For answers to most of your questions, I refer you to the FAQ linked in my signature.

As long as you have the initials B.S. behind your name and you take the required courses along with the MCAT, you are eligible for medical school.

Thanks...i said it was a dumb question....

Doesn't matter what major you have....as long as you meet their prereq. Iam majoring in int'l business and plan to apply next year. Im taking my prereq. right now though.

What schools offers a BS in cardio-pulmonary whatever? Are you sure it's a bachelor of science degree?
