Some schools, I know Xavier specifically, states NOT to take Math and Science classes online...

"The College of Pharmacy will accept on-line courses for any of the non-science courses EXCEPT the Fundamentals of Public Speaking course. All math and science courses must be taken in a class room setting."

Because of my hectic work schedule, I have chosen to take Biology Lecture online at my local community college. So my question is, how would Xavier ever know that I took Bio online? Im pretty sure it doesn't state anything differently on my transcript.. help, anyone? :/

1) It's an ethical issue, so attempting to skirt the truth is sketchy at best.

2) Most (if not all) schools have section numbers that indicate that you are taking the class online. It's incredibly easy to find out and again ... lying about your academic history is unethical and you're going to be caught. Merely conjecture, but if you lie to one school, chances are that the faculty and ad-coms at COP's are networked well enough for word to spread.

Find a way to make it work or don't apply to that school. It sucks, but it's reality.

When you're filling out your application they will ask you if you took it online.

This.

I have sympathy, I really do... but... Do you really want to risk your application because you didn't want to sit in a classroom / didn't want to wait for an in-person class to fit your schedule / didn't want to rearrange your life to take it in person? Didn't think so.
