Question about retaking classes?

I know that Pharmcas averages the two grades together but does it work the same way if I got a C in Organic Chemistry the first time, tried to retake it for a better grade the next semester and ended up doing poorly the whole semester do to personal issues and ended up with an F (mainly because I wasn't able to attend classes). Does it still average the 2 grades even though the second grade is worse?

My understanding is that it averages no matter how well you did the 2nd time.

Yes. It will average both grades, whether you did better the the second time or not.

Thanks, what if I took it for the third time? It would be all 3 averaged correct?

Pharmcas includes everything, so yes, if you take it a third time it will be the average grade from all three attempts.
