Question about senior grades

Hey,

I had my interview qith NOVA about a week ago and im pretty sure i will get in. I heard that if they accept you, they will admitt you if you get C's in your pre req courses. I usually get good grades but I am very likley to get a D in microbiology. Has anyone been in this situation before? what ended up happening?
